How to Convert PDF to Image
Turn PDF pages into image files for previews, presentations, and platforms that do not accept PDFs.
PDF pages can be rendered as PNG or JPG images when you need a preview, a social post, or compatibility with an image-only workflow. The right resolution depends on the destination.
Pick a format
PNG preserves text and sharp line art well. JPG is often smaller for photo-heavy pages. If the destination supports it, choose based on visual content rather than habit.
Set resolution for the destination
A screen preview needs fewer pixels than a print-ready image. Exporting every page at an unnecessarily high resolution creates large files without adding visible detail on the target device.
Expect a rasterized result
An image export no longer contains selectable text or vector objects. Keep the original PDF when accessibility, search, copying, or later editing matters.
